MilesLogger+ Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

MilesLogger+ logs mileage for your own records. This policy describes what the app collects, how it is used, and how you can delete it.

Data we collect

What we do not collect

How data is stored

Trips, routes, and places are stored on your devices. If you are signed into iCloud, Apple CloudKit stores the same records in your iCloud account so they can sync. We do not operate our own servers and we do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch companion can start or end a trip and show live or today's distance. The iPhone records GPS. A snapshot of trip status may be stored in an App Group on your devices and sent over WatchConnectivity.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept until you delete individual trips or places, use Delete All Data in Settings, or delete the app. Turning off iCloud for this app (or iCloud entirely) stops sync; copies already in iCloud follow Apple's iCloud retention.

Withdrawing consent

Location and Motion can be changed or revoked in iOS Settings. You can still start a trip by hand or log one manually without Always location. Auto-detect requires Always location and, when available, Motion.

Tax estimates

Deduction totals are estimates using the per-mile rate you enter. They are not tax advice, not a filing, and not a guarantee of what you may deduct.
